Strong wind allowed him to sneak in off my backside as I was watching 5 other bucks (2shooters) and a dozen does in the field out in front of me. Bow in hand already I heard him. Turned and he was right on top of me. Tight shooting window caused the shot to hit back. Gave him overnight and recovered him 12 PM 10/02 after a solid 6 hour tracking job.
