I had just did a grunt rattle sequence when I saw him coming down a heavy deer run he was broadside 30yds when I pulled my bow back, and the peep didn’t turn. Let the bow down and fidgeted with the peep pulled it back again and peep just barely turned but not enough to see through and now he’s quartering towards me. My last opportunity for a shot so I took it.
He’s my 5th deer ever, 2nd buck, but 1st archery buck, so it feels super good to have him under my belt!
