Michigan’s gun season started off rainy and supper windy! Seen a good amount of deer the first 2 days but no bucks that I wanted to take. On the morning of the 17th that all changed. 10:00 AM rolls around and have not even seen a deer so I was just about to go in and catch a nap for the afternoon hunt. Well little did I know the deer were going to start coming out of the wood work! I seen 17 deer from 10:00 to 11:00 bucks chasing does, and fawns running around. The biggest buck I seen was about a 7 inch spike. Then I caught a glimpse of a deer so I turned all my attention to that. After realizing it was a doe I could here a buck grunt. Got ready and this dude steps out at about 70 yards! This week has been the most epic and memorable week spent in the northern woods I will probably ever remember! So thankful for this opportunity at a buck of a lifetime up north at our hunting camp in Northern Michigan!
