My “friend” Callie has been hunting hard all season and has had some unfortunate luck… we just could not seem to get the deer to come in until right after last shot. As I am driving to work Thursday morning I get a text that a spike is 20 yards out in front of her. But I already knew that, thanks to Skypoint lol. She then says she gonna pass on him because she keeps reading about others seeing small bucks and big one coming in not far behind them. Well needless to say the spike walks off and no other deer come in. I’m pretty sure she kicked herself for passing, especially since she has yet to get her first buck. That evening, I’m coming home from working in Ann Arbor and get a text that he’s back and at the same 20 yard spot and this time he’s not so lucky! 20 yard shot and ran maybe 40 yards and piled up! Great first buck! So proud of you and how much passion you have for deer hunting!
