Been hunting this nocturnal swamp donkey all season! Only ever getting two daylight pictures of him. I went out for an evening hunt at around 12:45pm. Before I climbed into The blind I went out on the trail he always comes in on and put out a couple drip sticks with Tink 69 on them. At approximately 4:18 I had a doe come running through the shooting lane and just seconds after right behind her was the buck I call “Frank” that Ive hunted all season. He walked straight to the trip stick. Putting him at 35 yards quartering towards me. Feeling confident in the shot, I took it. Clean kill double lung ran approximately 50 yards! Talk about a hunt I’ll never forget and just goes to show hard work and patience does pay off!!!
