Well I made it happen! This decent tom gave me the opportunity and I took it.
I have been working on my calls and earlier in the day I had 2 toms working their way to me and this guy was with 5 hens not too worried about what I was doing but I had to get out of there to get to my nieces college signing. I left a little disappointed but decided to try again when I got home. It just so happens they were crossing back into the field when I got home!
It worked out pretty dang good!
Now it’s time to get my son on his first turkey! He learned the “you snooze you lose” lesson the hard way! Haha
