It was 85 degrees on Saturday so we opted for some trout fishing. Sunday it poured all day. We were almost ready to call it and head north to get back for school the next day but decided to give it a shot and headed for an old tower blind that we thought might keep us dryish.
We saw 10-12 deer feeding in our plots and on the neighbors field behind us and spotted this deer on the wrong side of the fence. After an hour or so he jumped the fence at about 135 yards quartering in our favor so he got set up and steady and let him come to 110 full broadside. Before I could give him any final instructions I heard him take a big breathe let it out click the safety off and drop him where he stood. So happy for him to harvest his second buck and to have the freezer full. Proud Papa ❤️
