4 different hunters on the farm have been hunting this buck hard for the entire season. One had 2 close encounters with their bow but never close enough. I decided to go out this evening due to the fact my dad seen him that morning while working on the farm. Hopped up in a dead fallen down tree within 300 yards of where he was last seen. When it started misting and wind gusts began to pick up, I was really debating on getting down. Luckily I stuck it out. He walked out of his bedding area and presented me with a 40 yard shot. Dropped him in his tracks. Once in a lifetime buck!
