We were sitting in the blind together on Opening Day when the 6 pointer came out of the woods, chasing does through the apple trees. Dayna wanted to wait for an 8 point or better so she let me get the first shot, hitting him clean with my 30/06. No more then 5 minutes later, another buck comes out of the woods and walks less than 20yds from our blind. We could tell it was a nice buck too, so Dayna decided to shoot. It dropped in it’s tracks and to our surprise, it was a 9 point. Two bucks down from the same blind in less than 10 minutes! Couldn’t thank God for a better morning!
