Been out every morning since opening day, trying to figure out how to get theses Tom’s away from their 20+ hens. Half strut Jake and breeding hen fired up all the Jake’s and kept the Tom’s away until I pulled out the full strut tom. Heard them gobblin in the roost so I let out just a few soft yelps and they instantly talked back, stayed quite and the tom flew down right next to the decoy at 12 yards. Second turkey ever, first all on my own.
