I missed this buck last year on nov.5 ,and never seen him again. So let’s makes this kinda short. So we have been watching this buck since last year and for the entire summer between trail cam and daytime viewing while he was enjoying the beans. I switched my day off from Monday to Thursday so I could hunt the morning.. didn’t wake up so I only got to night hunt. Got out at about 430 opening night had a few doe after 5 then nothing, I was like pretty sure I had this deer figured out and knew he was coming next.. and another hour goes by I haven’t seen anything… Then I catch a glimpse of a butt but didn’t know what it was so I just stood up and was ready now back and everything.. and here he comes right behind his buddy.. straight down wind looks right up at me. Talk about a stare off he had no chance. Lined up behind the shoulder and let her fly. Pow perfect heart shot watched him fall…!!!! Biggest deer I’ve ever been able to shoot. The score is just a estimate. It’s gotta dry. I’m thinking between 150+
