I went out for my first year of Turkey hunting with my boyfriend that’s had many years of experience. We went out early in the morning. He had his decoy out on the corner of the woods by the field. After we sat down right away my boyfriend said to to get ready and then a hen came out right around the corner with the Tom following. And then I shot him. He ended up having a 12 inch beard and 1 and 1/4 spurs. I was very exited to shoot my first turkey. And it was a very fun time. And I can’t wait for next year!
