Went for a walk, close to a bedding area.

Stayed real quiet and low, Then all the sudden, here he comes, nose to the ground. On the prowl for a hot doe.

Walked within a few feet/yds of me. Didnt even knowtice me kneeling in the grass.

I let him walk by, 2-3 min later he comes back, Again nose down. I poked my gun through an opening in the grass and squeezed one off at very close range,

He went maybe 20yds before he came crashing down

If i waited any longer he would have ben literally right on top of me.

He Never had any idea i was there just a few feet away. He was so focused on finding a doe in that bedding area,
He never bothered to look up. Or even pay attention to his surroundings.

Crazy to think about thats what goes on when people aren’t around, In nature,

It was very cool to see a buck in his element, up close like that, Like a fly on the wall
