Hunting has always been a family tradition of ours, and this year was no different as my brothers and I headed out to hunt opening day. We had a slow opening morning, but as we walked out to our stands in the afternoon, the sun was shining so brightly, I knew it was going to be a good night. My brother Anthony and I were sitting together. He spotted the buck on his side of the stand, and we quickly switched spots because he wanted me to shoot the first buck. The buck was trotting quite quickly and, he said he was going to stop him when I was ready to shoot. He used his grunt call, and the buck stopped. I shot him at 150 yards, and he dropped right there. There’s no other sibling family tradition that I enjoy more than hunting, and this year was my favorite memory so far. This buck is also my biggest buck yet !
