I took my daughter out for her first hunt this season. Around 6:30 in the evening, a doe came running in from behind us and stopped in front of our blind. I told my daughter that she was being chased, and to wait patiently for a buck. About 5 minutes later, this buck came in and stood about 35 yards in front of us. My daughter patiently waited another 5 minutes before she had a clear shot. She took the shot, and the deer only made it about 30 yards before he dropped.
