My first deer! This is my 6th season and I was starting to think it would never happen. Opened the blind for the first time mid morning. Went out to hunt about 2:15pm since we had not been out yet. Heard this guy come up from behind us and dip back into the woods. He came out farther back. I didn’t feel comfortable shooting my gun at that distance so my boyfriend told me to switch with him. I somehow had enough time to switch, scooped, and then I watched him drop! I have never been so excited!
