This buck had been popping up on our property all throughout bow season. He slipped up on opening day by taking an odd route through our woods & ended up at 25 yards broadside in front of me at 7:08 am. Initially, I didn’t realize I had shot this deer because it was a pretty quick encounter; however I knew it was a nice buck. Obviously, I was pretty pumped once I walked up on him later on in the morning out in our field.
