My dad shot a buck around 7:20 and we both decided to wait around 9:30 to go look for it so when 9:30 came around I got out of the blind and looked in a field behind me to see if the deer was there and I came back to the right side of the blind and I see this doe running so I stop so it doesn’t see me and I look to the left a little bit and he’s chasing the doe so I put my back up against the side of the blind and I yelled to get to him to stop so he paused and I took the shot. My intended target was behind the shoulder but I had nothing to rest on so I got lucky with the shot by hitting the neck and dropping it. He was also caught on somebody’s camera at 2am of opening morning a couple miles down the road.
