I first spotted it down my left shooting lane at 90 ish yards and it worked its way to 30 yards before it turned slightly quartering away. I pulled the trigger and he jumped and kicked. He bolted to my right and I heard him fall. Short track job produced the largest buck ever taken off of the property I’ve been blessed to hunt. I thanked God and the rest of the group for the good memories. After many pictures and a drag to the truck we, were off to dinner.
