Been trying to hunt between work and taking my kids out. Both boys got good first bucks. Snuck out this morning alone and couldn’t decide on a stand, so my uncle said I’ll hunt the NE, you hunt the curve. Got in the stand around 640. Had this buck show up the morning before around 6:22. We have cam pics and i have seen him 1 time in person 200 yards away. Started soft grunting and a light rattle at daylight. No sooner did I put the horns down he came in on my right, I grabbed my bow and made a 20yard shot. Shot him at 745 ran about 75 yards and piled up. My personal biggest buck. I’m blessed to lease good land with my uncle and lucky to learn from a man who in my eyes is a hunting legend.
