This buck is a buck that we called Crooked. We have watched him since the beginning of the season, when we noticed both brow times curved in almost touching at the ends. The firsts day of the youth hunt we saw a couple nice two year olds and lots of other deer but not Crooked. The second day he walked out of the woods from the east about 20 yards from the blind. We had a couple small bucks and lots of doe’s all around us so it was a challenge to get the gun up. After about five minutes I was situated and able to make the shot. I made an amazing heart shot that dropped him about ten yards from where he had been standing. I am so thankful that this is how I get to end my youth hunting experience.
