Have sat on opening, saw a few spikes and lots of does slow day. Was thinking of not hunting due to the warm weather. Decided to go out and was planning on taking a doe, 4:30 came around and two small does came out and they spooked off hoping a buck was coming in and sure enough this monster 9pt comes out about 14 yards away and I took my shot behind the front shoulder and it ran off a good 40 yards and there it was laying down got to spend this quality moment with my best friends and my uncle and grandpa. Buck of a life time for myself.
