It just wasn’t my bow season this year. After not seeing anything of size during opening morning, I decided to take off from work a little early and get set up in the blind. My dad was trying to fill a doe tag, and was sitting about 300 yards down the fence row from me. All the sudden I get a phone call of my dad frantically telling me to get ready, a big one was coming. Sure enough, out of the tall grass stepped this 9 point, mainframe 8 with a sticker on the left side. 135 yards, and the .450 put him down. Biggest buck to date in MI, glad I could spend it with my father and two younger brothers.
