He came out onto the field scent checking the neighbors standing corn 300 yards from where I was sitting. I grunted and rattled, and shortly after he made his way toward me in the woods. On his way in, he bumped up a doe that was bedded down nearby and started to chase her around me. After running right under my stand, a few moments later he stopped and offered a nice broadside shot at 20 yards.
