The day was hot but she had her heart set on going out. Within 10 minutes a doe came in and she was ready to shoot but Dad told her wait and see what else comes in. A little later a smaller buck comes in and again she was ready to shoot. Dad said go for it, if that’s the one you want. Just as she was getting ready to shoot, out came the 9 point and she lit up with excitement and whispered here comes a bigger one. As he gets a little closer he starts sniffing the air, probably smells them sweating. Dad said you better go for it. She shot and 9 point down. 20 yard shot, ran 35 yards!
