Had a doe come in walk right behind me at 10 yards. Bow in hand I decided to let her walk. She was out of sight less than a minute later. Not even 30 seconds after she disappeared I heard grunting. I grabbed my grunt call and started grunting back. After a minute or so of me and him grunting back and fourth he stepped out of the brush on the same path the doe had taken. He was on a mission! Set the grunt down and drew back my bow. At 10 yards he stepped between two trees and I let it fly. He ran for thirty yards or so then started walking following the does path. I backed out to let him lay and found him that afternoon.
