Still can’t believe I got to shoot “13”—and even more thankful I got to do it with Maddi with my compound bow. Biggest buck we’ve had on our property, and I truly believe God meant this one for us. 🤎
From urging me to knock down the grass in the exact opening I shot him through, to a plane flying over at the exact moment I accidentally made too much noise while moving my pin, to my husband finding him when we started to lose the blood trail—God had His hand in all of it.
Our family covered us in prayer before we went out, and seconds after the shot, my daughter and I stopped and prayed together. Now I get to praise God for the recovery of this monster and for the opportunity to experience it all with my girl.
This buck hadn’t been on camera in weeks, and it had been months since he showed up in daylight. I’m just insanely grateful to God. He is so good! 🤎
