I had the honor to watch the big guy for quite some time before he stepped into my window of opportunity. I was humbled by his grace of movement, such a breath taking animal. Thank goodness I had time to collect myself for I was shaking so hard thought I would plumb fall out of the tree stand! There is nothing I love more than to sit up in the tree listening and learning. I hunt to put meat in the freezer, it’s not a sport, I never just take a shot, I know my boundaries, practice daily and accept the responsibilities of a hunter.
