Based on previous years data, I always have mature buck movement on October 30th. So despite the 77 degree weather, I did a hang and hunt in a pinch point between a cut ag field and a river. 30 minutes before dark, he worked his way along a brush line and up to the river. He then followed the river towards me. He was about to cross the river at 44 yards, so I drew, settled my pin, and sent it. I made a perfect quartering away, double lung shot and he piled up after about 100 yards. He’s my personal best.
