Season started rough, haven’t seen a single deer in the woods. Cold front came in, hit the bedding area once again. 8 does came out, three bucks. Lots of chasing, grunting. Hit the grunt call low, and he came in on a string. No blood, backed out. Went back in at 1 o clock. Found him 200 yards from where I shot him floating in the swamp. Safe to say this is the oldest buck I’ve shot. Glad I got to recover him.
