Wanted to thank 2 people ..First God ( Jesus) for blessing me with what i feel is one the beat pieces of property in monroe county to.harvest deer. I love my property . I put alot of time to making it a successful place to have deer live there. 2nd peraon I want to thank ia my wife Hollie for letting me hunt even though her sickness has robbed her of her joy. She lets me have my time to spend with God in the woods and enjoy Gods creation.

Ok now onto this guys story.. This buck started showing up on nov 8th and has been sticking around last couple weeks. I finally caught up to him on friday. After i left work. We.had a warm spell and wasnt getting anything on camera. Thd night before i had 6 different bucks walk by so i knew something was up.

So sat in my stand at 4 and by 445 this guy came walking towards me straight ahead. He cut to thd left around 60 to 70 yds and gave me broadside shot.he ran only 50 yds and never seen him go down. Bouy 10.mins go by ans i hear a grunt ans find himnin my scope. He’s trying to get up so i call my buddy and he said hes trying to get up.and run ” u better get down and put another round in him.” So i get out of my stand and walk over to him slowly and by time i get to him ..hes dead. Biggest buck ive shot and truely bleassed to get a target buck.
