Lots of practice and patience has paid off!! The wind for my usual stand was bad so my dad offered me his stand; I couldn’t resist. I knew the deer would be moving since the wind was perfect for that location, a cold front was moving in, it had rained most of the day and it was a full moon. About 5:19p, had a group of 5 walk right down the runway 25 yards away and following was this guy. He came to a stop allowing me a shot so I took it. Couldn’t be prouder to have successfully harvest my first compound bow deer! Thanks Mom, Dad and Uncle Nick for the help with tracking and the opportunity to hunt This is an 8 point with a 15 1/2” inside spread.
