Been a rough season with only seeing young bucks. Well the lord sent me one today, was sapose to work a 10 hour day but ended up getting out with 8. I hurried home hoping to catch deer moving through the field behind my house knowing they’d be feeding. Once I got home I saw they were starting to file out so I put a stalk on hoping they’d work there way towards me. Bunch of does came in and we’re feeding when he came into view, so I let him Work his way in and when he got within a 100 yrds I let him have it, he ran 10 yrds and tipped over! Definitely a proud moment being it is the first deer I harvested on my own property, a hunt ill never forget!
