Being a new hunter I am still learning so much the sport has to offer. I set out on a Wednesday night with heavy wind using Nose Jammer but looking forward to the peacefulness of the outdoors. Climbed the stand at about 4:30pm and sat seeing only squirrels and chipmunks. When at 7:21 a nice doe popped out and looked back quickly, she took a few more steps and looked back again. Just 1 min later this guy popped out just 21 yards away, he quickly turn away from me but then quartered back to me and I took the shot hitting double lung with the Rage 2” – 2 blade. He went about 50 yards and dropped never getting up. For a first deer ever taken I could not of asked for a better experience.
