I was watching this buck since the summer hoping he stuck around for bow season. I’ve put countless hours into maintaining my clover plot hoping to create a honey hole for the deer. The past 5 years I have been passing all deer under 3 1/2 years old hoping to get some in that 120” range. All my patience payed off on the first frosty morning of the season. On 10/24 at 8:50am I watched my target buck come out of the woods and come 100 yards right to me picking at the clover. He mad it to 21 yards and the rest is history. Very blessed and thankful to harvest this buck.
