This buck has been on our radar since August when we captured two photos of him. Right away we could tell he was unique. He was mostly nocturnal and was only showing up on trail cam periodically. I had one daylight encounter with him on the morning of November 11th, but no shot was presented. Once the temperatures dropped he started showing up on trail camera more and more. He was still nocturnal, until this past Sunday when he showed 15 minutes before last light. I took advantage of the cold temperatures on Tuesday evening and shot him at 25 yards, I watched him fall from my stand.
