Just before dark a doe walked out, a buck was following her a small one. I was watching this buck to my right out of the corner of my eye I see a bigger buck walk out. It’s almost dark now and this buck is walking out of sight. I wait while crossing my fingers and he walk back in my direction to the sugar beets. I look through the scope and something spooks him he walks about ten yards quartering away I shoot and he trips and runs into the thicket.
