My son kept trying to get me to rattle and I kept saying we just have to wait a little bit longer. He asked me again and I said ok let’s do it. Within 5 seconds of one rattling sequence a 6 point came straight at us out of the thick stuff, 10 seconds after that the big 8 point came out of the thick stuff right at us presenting a 33 yard shot. I was initially worried the shot was a little back but he was more quartered away from us than I thought and only made it 90 yards before piling up. Awesome experience having my son in the stand. It was a team effort and so grateful to be able to chase these majestic creatures.
