Got permission this year to hunt this new land after hunting 31 years elsewhere and was told to shoot does and nothing smaller than 8pts. No problem. Had 3 shooters in mind including this one as it’s been on camera right at last light for over a week straight. 3rd sit of the year as I take my vacation this time of the month thru early early November every year. Seen a few does and a yearling doe in front of me before seeing a bigger buck than this and it being my top shooter buck standing 20 yds away behind me but a branch was in the way to shoot . This one came in a few minutes before its to dark to see and instantly knew it was a shooter after seeing 5 on one side. It was about 20 yds away and I released a Deadmeat broadhead in the lungs. Complete pass thru. It went 3-4 yds before tipping over after the shot as it was unsure what happened. First bow buck in 25 years. 9 pts with 19” inside spread. Longest tine was 9” long.
