Three years of history with this deer ended this evening at 4:03pm! This season he’s been my obsession!! Had four close encounters with him during bow season, with three of those under 30 yards and one encounter ended with a miss! Last year as a 3.5 year old I knew he would blow up if he had another year, and he exploded in body and antler size this year! I’ve worked my butt off for this guy this year. All I’ve done is obsess and think about this deer since last season ended. Did he make it through the winter? Is he gonna stay around this coming year? How different is he gonna look? When I finally got a picture of him in velvet I was hooked. This is the one I’m going after! This is why I pass deer. Why I don’t shoot the first decent buck I see. For a chance at a buck like this and all the history I have with him! I couldn’t be happier with how our story and history ended!!!
