October 3, 2026, was a day our family will always remember.
My son (Brantley) went hunting in Jackson County with his dad. They spent the morning in the woods, enjoying time together and waiting patiently for the right opportunity.
After sitting quietly and watching, a six-point deer finally came into view. With his dad beside him, my son took the shot and got his very first deer.
It was an exciting and proud moment for both of them. His dad was there to guide him, and my son got to experience something he will never forget.
This six-point buck will always be special, not only because it was his first deer, but because of the time he shared with his dad that day.
