This hunt started after the morning hunt was over and got back to the house. I seen a deer across the road in the field across from our house. Looked to be a couple of big does out there and we happen to know the land owner. So I called to ask for permission to go over there and try to stalk one and shoot it. The land own said yes go for it bud. So off I set with my friend to try and spot and stalk these two does. By the time we git permission the does headed back into the wood-line. We figured it was the perfect time to close the distance as fast as we could so we rushed out about 150 yards into the field and then moved another 50 yards real slow to where we could see the does. We set up and we’re waiting for them to come back into the field when all the sudden this stud stepped out of the wood line about 50-55 yards north of us in the field. I got down on one knee and I let him have it. I hit him deep with my first shot so I had to put another in in him and that shit hit it’s mark. That’s all she wrote for this dandy. Thanks for taking the time to read about my very exciting hunt.
