First buck for this kid. We got out late, the wind was wrong and the last morning for youth season. We were in the stand a little over an hour and this brute comes walking across the field. Handed my son the 350 Legend and I think I repeated “shoot it” maybe three or four times. The buck walked away from us with only hind in sight, but Brendan was patient enough to have buck fever set in and the buck to quarter enough at 93 yards to drop him dead in his tracks! He mentioned how bad his legs were shaking and I told him mine were doing the same. What a wonderfully memorable moment we were able to share.
