I’ve got several pictures of this buck from the last few years, including this summer. Opening morning, when the rain finally let up, he slipped by without giving me a shot. When I climbed down that day, I trimmed two branches, and that little adjustment paid off!
Saturday morning, I saw him around 8, but he stayed about 70 yards out. Around 9:30, he came back and took the same trail toward his bed that he’d used opening morning. Only this time, I had a clear shot!
One of my best Michigan bucks, with a rough score of 153 inches. So thankful to punch my tag on this stud just three days into the season!
