Wasn’t feeling real motivated to go out due to the lack of activity I had seen but after speaking with my wife who is currently in Virginia doing military training I decided to go out. She’s always been my good luck charm but without her there I threw on her hat and sweater she sent me and hoped for the best. He came and about a half hour before I could see him. Made a clean lung shot but lost blood after about 150 yards so I backed out and called in Matt Carlson and he brought his hound and he brought me right to him. The brute ran about 500 yards in total but had bedded down twice and still kept going.
