I put up a Scouting camera‘s on October 24, and checked them on November 4. I saw three mid afternoon pictures of this deer in the previous week. I was just about to get down out of my stand at 10:45 AM when I noticed a doe about 60 yards ahead of me. A few minutes later I noticed this buck 10 yards behind her. She came my way and crossed through my shooting lane, but he went the other direction. About 10 minutes later he came my way following a smaller buck Following the path that the doe had taken. I shot him at 30 yards, and he crossed right in front of me 20 feet from my stand and dropped 30 yards from my stand within sight. My biggest archery buck in 32 years and the first archery buck that I’ve actually seen fall.
