I had seen him on camera a few times and chasing a doe a couple nights ago but had not had him close enough to take a shot. Last night a couple of doe were in the field so I made a few grunts and 5 minutes later he came out of the woods headed straight for me got a 30 yard shot on him as he was quartering away and hit the gut/lung. He ran in a big loop for about 120 yards but there was blood everywhere. He was a trooper. So grateful for this deer. I wasnt even going to go hunt but I am glad I changed my mind.
