He came in on high alert and ran off on opening day and I hadn’t seen him since. On the 5th he showed up at 7 pm looking to eat. Once he looked and sniffed around he lowered his head to eat. I ranged him at 36 yards and took the shot. I had to call in Hit-Em-Back tracking Sunday morning to locate him after my blood trail seemed to end. He was recovered within a half-hour by an amazing dog named Hunter. Biggest buck to date and first archery deer.
