Hunted for five days straight seeing deer throughout each sit. The morning of the 22nd was different. Didn’t see any deer in the morning, but did have a coyote come through at 08:30. At 10 my son texted me asking when I was coming in. Since it had been so slow I replied 10:45. At 10:30 I noticed a deer headed my way 80 yes out, I put my scope on him and noticed he was above his ears and out to his nose. This time of season he’s a shooter. I picked a spot in the trees and waited for his shoulder to show up in my crosshairs. I squeezed the trigger and was instantly in awe when he kicked and weirded around. Easily the biggest buck I have ever harvested. Buck scored 135 pts.
