10 am Nov 14th I Heard him huffing and puffing before I saw him. Grabbed my bow and waited. I finally saw him 25 yards away headed directly to me. Once I saw the muff on his head I knew he was a good one. I started to draw when his head was behind a pine branch. He came into about 10-12 yards and stopped, looked right then left he took one step to the left and I sent a G5 dead meat right through both his lungs. Big boy bucked and ran into the thick stuff. Found him probably 80 yards or so away. I’d passed so many good looking bucks waiting for a chance at an old mature buck. Patience paid off.
